Our story

The association was established in November 2023 on the initiative of Cataldo C. Collazzo who, with a letter of March 2023, proposed to the City Council of Brienza to make of a fund having a bonded destination for the protection and enhancement of the cultural heritage of Brienza, both tangible and intangible. The fund is currently supported only by the contribution that the same Cataldo C. Collazzo has undertaken to pay annually and set at the sum of €15,000.00. The fund should have, upon adhesion to the proposal thus formulated to the Municipality of Brienza, also been fed by an annual sum of the same amount paid to the Association as a contribution of the Municipal Administration, or in the amount of an annual sum not less than €5,000.00 and in any case not more than €15,000.00, in the forms and with the methods that the same Administration should establish, through the co-financing of specific projects approved by the Board of Directors. At present, however, the civic administration has not yet adhered.

The Statute of the association also provides for the membership of other public or private entities which undertake to contribute to the Fund and for the entire duration of the association, as a voluntary contribution, an annual sum of not less than 5,000 euros and in any case not more than 15,000.00 euros per year.

To achieve its goals, the Association allocates the proceeds of the Fund in a minimum amount of 75% to long-term interventions aimed at protecting and enhancing the cultural heritage and landscape on tangible and intangible assets and in a maximum amount of 25% for the organization and management of cultural, artistic or recreational activities of social interest, including editorial ones, for the promotion and diffusion of culture.
