From September 28 to October 1, 2025, Brienza will host the residential workshop "Environment as History. Themes and Methods of Environmental History in the 20th and 21st Centuries," a unique scientific and educational initiative that aims to promote the circulation of ideas and expertise in environmental history, a rapidly expanding discipline internationally and increasingly central to understanding the relationships between society, territory, and the environment.
